Inversion of subject and verbs

Do you know what an inversion is??

The content for this week is about inversion of subject and finite verbs, so in this post you could watch a web page and a video that talk about what is an inversion and in which cases we can use them, because there are specific cases and rules to use them.

Personally the content of video and webpage has help me a lot to reinforce my knowledge because it could seem as an easy topic to understand but sometimes we forget the thing, in my case I had forgotten how to make an inversion using negative words as: rarely, never and seldom but now I have clear how to use it .

Hello Adri, your material is very interesting, because has helped me a lot of, in mi case I´m sincere i don´t have a clear idea about inversion but now I have a great idea when I have to use an inversion, what´s order I have to follow and the Your material has helped me to know the most common type of inversion is question word order. Inversion also happens in other situations like negative adverbs, expression beginning with not.

    I have a doubt We can use inversion after 'so + adjective...that'?

    1. I am very happy to know that the content has been useful for you. and well, it is possible to use an inversion with "so+adjective" in that case it go the beginning of the sentence.

    Your information and video have been pretty useful, I like your post and resources, It's helped me to understand that inversion means putting the verb before the subjec better now I clear with way the Inversion of subject and verbs

    Now just a doubt, we can use inversion after If+adjetive?

  3. HelLo Adri, I liked your post because it contains both a video aND audio web page. And both are good resources for theory and practice. With your video I have learned that in questions form the inversion is obligatory, this means that the inversion must be there. Thanks for your recommendation odds the web paget. I just have one question, can we use negative adverbs in the inversion sentence form?

    I didn’t know about this topic before, I use something about the rules, like to make questions, but I didn’t know that belongs to this topic, I enter to the webpage and I like that has examples, and explains you the subtopics, and the video is easy to understand, I like to watch videos because they help me more than only reading.
